Brick Paver Installation Process:

1- Initial Consultation & Planning

1- Initial Consultation & Planning

1- Initial Consultation & Planning

We start with a discussion to understand your vision, needs, and preferences. We'll also assess the area to ensure its suitable for paver installation and recommend design options that fit your style and functionality.

2- Site Preparation

1- Initial Consultation & Planning

  • Marking and Layout: We mark the area and outline the design on the ground to ensure accuracy.
  • Excavation: The area is excavated to the proper depth, which usually depends on the type of traffic (pedestrian or vehicle). This ensures a solid foundation.

3- Base Installation

4-Edge Restraints Installation

A base layer of crushed stone or gravel "aggregate" is spread and compacted. This layer provides drainage and prevents shifting. The thickness of this base depends on local soil conditions and the intended use of the surface.

To ensure the pavers stay in place, edge restraints are installed. These are critical for maintaining the structure of the paved area over time.

6- Laying the Pavers

The pavers are placed according to the design pattern. Precision and alignment are key to achieving a professional finish.

Any pavers that need to be adjusted to fit the design are cut and fitted. This ensures a seamless appearance, especially around edges or obstacles.

7- Sand Application and Compaction

Once the pavers are laid, sand is spread over the surface and swept into the joints. This helps lock the pavers together and prevents shifting.

A plate compactor is used to settle the pavers into the sand base and lock them in place. This step also ensures the sand fills all the joints securely.

8- Final Touches

Excess sand is swept off the surface. The area is cleaned, and we perform a final inspection to ensure everything meets our quality standards.

9- Sealer Application (Optional)

Depending on your preferences, we can apply a sealant to enhance the color, protect the surface, and increase durability.
